Cheryl Drábová (Founder, Managing Director)
Cheryl is an American originally from Chicago and holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. During university she studied abroad in Paris and Rome and was never able to shake that European travel itch. After graduating she was off to Europe again landing in Prague this time. Her intentions were to just stay for a year. That was in 1999. She has been recruiting TEFL students for over 13 years now and has helped more than 2500 students prepare for their transition to Prague for their TEFL course and again onto other countries to begin their adventure teaching English overseas. She is also equipped with all the answers to your questions before, during and after your course. In her free time Cheryl enjoys time with her family, travelling, hiking, playing the piano, theater, motorcycling and dining out.

Dan Baines (Teacher Trainer)
Dan holds both a Cambridge CELTA and DELTA and has been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 2004. Prior to working at TEFL Worldwide Prague, Dan was Assistant Director of Studies at a large language school in Bratislava, where he was responsible for in-house teacher development and coordination of corporate courses. In this position he taught a number of teacher development courses and has presented at numerous methodology conferences around the Czech Republic and Slovakia for Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. He is currently studying for an MA in TESOL at Sheffield Hallam University. When not at work, Dan takes an active interest in music, sport and is a keen amateur chef.

Justin Landis
Justin hails from outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and holds a degree in Sport and Recreation Management and Business Administration from Temple University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has also held Marketing and Community Development internship positions with both the United States Tennis Association and Madison Square Garden Sports Properties. After graduating in 2009, Justin went on a solo-backpacking trip through Zurich, Munich, Prague, Barcelona and Amsterdam and discovered his love for Europe. After returning and spending some time as a Fitness Trainer, Sportswriter for boxing and tennis, and USPTR Certified Tennis Professional/Junior Program Director, he couldn’t shake the desire to return to Europe. He took the course in September of 2011 and has been enjoying life in Prague ever since. Justin likes to channel his positive energy and outgoing nature into meeting new students and helping them transition to life abroad. In his free time, he enjoys blogging/travel writing, music, and running anything from 5K’s to marathons.

Kenneth Scott Arnold (Teacher Trainer)
Kenneth Arnold holds degrees in both education and English and has been working in TEFL teaching and training 1997. Originally from St. Louis, he completed his higher education with the Shenker TEFL certificate in Italy and the Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English Language to Adults). Kenneth has taught English in various academic areas including University and post-graduation studies. He has taught in various countries over the years including Malaysia, South Bohemia, Italy, Spain and the USA. His experience includes teaching adults from Elementary to Proficiency, young learners, ESP (English for Specific Purposes), Director of Studies, and most recently Military English for NATO. He is also an oral examiner for Cambridge. When not teaching or training, Kenneth enjoys sport, reading and spending time with his young daughters.

Andrea Downing - (Teaching Practice Observer)
Andrea has been teaching English since 1999 when she took her initial Cert.TESOL course in order to fund her travels round the Atlantic on a small boat. The teaching bug hit her hard and since then she has developed her career around the world, working in Brazil, China, Estonia and the Middle East as well as Prague. She has worked in teacher training and development since 2006 and has also been responsible for academic management in language schools, universities and intensive programmes in different countries. She holds the Trinity Cert. TESOL. and Cambridge DELTA and is a member of the International ESOL Panel for Trinity College, London. In her spare time she loves cooking, swimming, knitting pointlessly long scarves and playing the mandolin, but not at the same time.

Renata Naušová - (Student Coordinator)
Renata was born in Prague, the city that she loves. Her journey to TEFL Worldwide was quite full of curves. She studied Economics at the Business Academy and afterwards she took a one year postgraduate English course. She then began working for the National Medical Library. In the meantime she attended several English courses at the State Language School of Prague gaining the FCE certificate. She then worked at a large language school for 4 years where she had the opportunity to meet a lot of native English speakers, which helped her to maintain her English and pass the CAE Cambridge exam. She is the Student Coordinator at TEFL Worldwide and enjoys helping students with their transition to Prague. In her free time she enjoyes meeting her close friends, reading books, drawing, listening to music or taking some interesting courses. She also has a love for animals.

Karin Krummenacher (Admissions, Job Guidance, and Marketing Coordinator)
Karin, originally from Switzerland, worked ten years as a customer service and sales professional all over Europe, until she decided to start something completely new.
She took the TEFL course in 2012 and works with several local language schools in and around Prague since she graduated, teaching German, French and English. She also works as a columnist for a weekly newspaper in Switzerland.
If she's not teaching or writing, Karin is interested in cinematics and literature. She loves to travel, preferably onroad trips, and meeting up with her friends and family, spread out all over the world.
